Frequently asked questions
Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) is a system of astrology developed by the late Prof. K. S. Krishnamurti. It is known for its detailed use of Nakshatras, Star Lords, Sub-Lords and significators to analyse specific questions and possible event timing.
Both systems share the same foundation of Vedic astrology. KP adds a further layer of analysis - particularly the Sub-Lord - which many practitioners use to bring more precision to specific, focused questions rather than broad life themes.
An accurate birth time is very helpful for KP analysis, since house cusps and Sub-Lords are time-sensitive. If your birth time is uncertain, let us know when booking - birth time rectification may be discussed as part of the consultation.
Typically your date, time and place of birth, along with a clear statement of the question or area you would like to explore. Only the information relevant to your selected consultation is requested.
KP is often used for focused questions, and can offer indications relevant to a specific question. It is presented as interpretive guidance based on a structured methodology, not a certain or guaranteed answer.
Timing analysis is one of the areas KP is commonly used for. The consultation can discuss astrological indicators relevant to possible timing, understood as guidance rather than a guaranteed date.
